Update from 12 June 2011: The founder of the game developers of Tim Sweeney, Epic Games announced now via E-Mail that the forums as well as the official website of the company again for users are available. In addition, no data from credit cards to the hacker group were reached. They were therefore stored on any of the compromised Web pages by Epic Games.
Original message from 11 June 2011: The Internet is always unsafe: after the recent hacker attack to the websites of Codemasters, now also the leaders of Epic Games faced with a digital attack. The game developers has now officially confirmed that the official website as well as the related forums are been hacked. It is, however, still unknown who is responsible for the attack. The hackers have tracked according to Epic Games in the course of digital attack of E-Mail addresses and passwords by forums users. This unreal, unreal Developer Network, UDN shortly, is however not affected. To prevent further damage, Epic Games has begun to change passwords of the user that is now gradually sent by E-Mail to the appropriate user.
